Welcome to our Creative Compound

Our New York headquarters are officially open to the public! We are located at 86 Walker Street in the heart of Tribeca's Design District. Over the past three months, we have transformed our loft from a raw, industrial space to the embodiment of The Inside: layered, dynamic, effortlessly chic, and joyful. Read on to see who we partnered with to make our enviable space and how you can visit.

Firstly, why "Creative Compound?" It is the vision of our founder, Christiane Lemieux, that The Inside's office is much more than a place to work: "We wanted to create the experiential office 3.0 where people can interact with product in person, see the curation of the mix--new and vintage, high and low--and be part of the conversation." The Creative Compound is indeed a showroom: you can see a select number of our products amongst gorgeous vintage pieces that we have handpicked and fantastic contemporary artworks from Uprise Art, but we hope it will also be a place that inspires you to live with beauty and acknowledge how it makes you feel. Probably pretty good.

Our space would not be possible without the contributions of our amazing partners: Farrow & Ball (paint), The Shade Store (window treatments), Uprise Art (artworks), Extrafloral (flowers), Schoolhouse Electric Co. (lighting), and The Sill (plants). When we approached our partners back in December with the concept of the Creative Compound, all we had was a blank canvas of a space and an idea. We are beyond thrilled to be working with each one of them to create an inspired interior that looks good, smells good, and feels good. We hope you'll visit and feel the same.
